Three things to start with
- Align configurations
- Request technical documentation
- Assess support arrangements
The same brief for each supplier
Give each supplier the same brief: bouquet sizes, proposed site, capacity and control requirements. Ask for named models and configurations. Base prices are not comparable when one quote includes a payment terminal or delivery and another treats them separately. A shared brief makes differences visible and reduces the chance of choosing on an incomplete headline figure
A demonstration of your workflow
Ask to see loading, a price change, a purchase, fault reporting and routine care. Include the person who will operate the machine and try loading and removing a prepared bouquet. A promotional photograph cannot show door movement, servicing access or the number of steps required for a task. Evaluate the demonstration against the way your team will actually work
What happens after the sale
Establish who receives service requests, how faults are diagnosed and who organises repairs. Get warranty scope, support terms and spare-parts arrangements in writing. These conditions may differ between countries. Assess the ongoing relationship as well as initial delivery, so responsibility remains clear when the machine is already installed and the people who prepared the sales offer are not handling daily support
